• Subtlety – Even on tracks that look simple, you need to consider subtlety. A huge ascent might look like the sort of place to drive as quickly as you can, but go too fast and you’re going to start tilting back, losing grip and leaving you rolling back down to the bottom of the hill.
• Gentle fingers – When you’re in the air, you need to continue the subtle touches. Tap too hard to correct your tilt and you’ll start a flip. And that might look cool, but there’s a good chance that if you’re flipping too much you’re going to land upside down.
• Don’t land upside down – This is the only way you can blow up your car. Even if you right your bounce and end up on your wheels, you’re going to explode. Make sure you stay the right way up otherwise your challenge isn’t going to last very long.

Advanced Techniques

• It’s not game over – When you run out of fuel, the game isn’t actually over. If you’re rolling towards a petrol can then see if you grab it. If you do, then you’ll get powered up again and be able to keep going. Definitely worth knowing.
• Don’t chase the coins – It’s tempting to try and grab all the coins on every run, but there’s really no need. You’re going to get enough as you play, so focus on smashing through the levels in the most effective way possible.
• Watch your opponent – It’s a good idea to keep an eye on what your opponent is doing. Especially when the run you’re playing against is one that finishes the whole track. Also check out where people die, because those are usually the tricky sections.

Hints and Tips

• Upgrade, upgrade, upgrade – Unfortunately, this is very much a game where your skills aren’t going to get you through. You’ll need to make sure you’re upgrading constantly. But there’s a secret to that too.
• Don’t focus – You need to make sure your vehicles are being upgraded evenly. Don’t just focus on speed, because balance is just as important. Upgrade bit by bit and you’ll find things get much easier.
• Go back – When you’ve unlocked some new tracks and your car is more powerful, then it’s worth heading back to the older tracks to get the best times and the rewards that come with them.

All vehicles are not created equal!

Initially, you’ll be able to play the stock vehicle that the game provides until you max upgrade it and earn your first free racer. There are many factors to consider for you to be able to control your vehicle properly. However, to earn your next free racer, you will have to max-upgrade each element (grip, speed, tilt, and stability), which can make driving quite terrible.

Practice every after tune-up!

We found out that smaller vehicles are much easier to control when doing vertical climbs if you max the grip for added power. Whereas bigger ones need to be fast and stable to be able to climb uphill. The tilt element can be quite difficult to predict. Just make sure to get accustomed to the latest tune-ups before you challenge others via the multiplayer game. Practice as much as you can using the single player game.

Hit the gas only when all four wheels are on the ground!

Sounds simple, but quite difficult to do when you are trying to balance a vehicle mid-air. The idea is to land the vehicle flat on all fours before hitting the gas to prevent it from tilting backwards. If it does tilt backwards, you can simply hit the brakes.

Climb tracks properly!

The tricky part is going up the track using a small or really big vehicle. You can modify the vehicle’s stability if it is too tall and you can improve a small car’s grip to help it climb up those crazy uphill tracks. Then, hit the gas at the base of the track to make the vehicle climb. Again, your vehicle needs to be on all fours before you hit the gas at the foot of the climb.

Open gifts and watch ads to double!

Gifts are usually in the form of diamonds, which you can use to unlock the next vehicle. You can click the small gift icon at the top of the screen and repeat once it refreshes. Double your diamonds by watching 15-30-second ads. This is a really quick way of earning those important gems.

Flip but don’t crash and burn!

The most important thing is to finish all races to unlock the next track, whether you place 2nd, 3rd, or last. Just completing for a few meters can earn you coins that can be used for upgrades. Also, pray that your opponent crashes before you do, then you can take it easy! If you can you can also do stunts to up your bonuses!

You gotta go fast while maintaining complete control over your hot wheel, as flipping over will result in a bombastic explosion! 1. Control your car!

Controlling your hot wheel is all about precision and careful taps! If you’ve played other 2D racing games, you’ll know exactly what to expect here. When you’re midair, holding down the gas will make your hot wheel rotate counter clockwise. Likewise, if you hold down the brakes you’ll rotate clockwise. This is incredibly important to keep in mind as you’ll need to orient yourself during big and small jumps to make sure you don’t slam your antenna (your weak point!) into the ground.

2. Stylish’ stunts!

On the main menu, you’ll see a chest with a flaming bar next to it. This is the Stunt Chest! You’ll need to fill up that bar before you can open it up. How do you this, you ask? Well what else – by pulling off sick stunts! Here’s a list of stunts we’ve discovered:

• Big Air: That’s right, the crowd will love it even if you’re not pulling off crazy stunts! Just a simple big jump resulting in big air is always a crowd pleaser. Try to hit maximum speed when you’re going off big jumps!
• Front/Back Flips: Flips are much more trickier to pull off but equally as rewarding. You’ll need to hold down either the gas or brakes when you’re in the air and complete a full 360 rotation. Landing it correctly will earn you a front or backflip, depending on which direction you rotated. Make sure you have plenty of air before committing to a flip, as attempting one ill-prepared is a surefire way to crash!
• Wheelies: These are performed by keeping your back wheels grounded while tilting your front end up off the ground and holding it for as long as you can. You can get a lift from a bump in the road, then start applying the gas to rotate backwards.

Once you fill up the stunt bar all the way, you’ll receive a chest. These chests contain a TON of coins for your currently equipped car, so it’s worth it to pull off as many stunts as you can! Once you earn a stunt chest, you won’t be able to earn another one until 24 hours have passed, regardless of how many more stunts you pull off.

3. Don’t exit right away!

When you run out of fuel, the game will inform you and a big exit button will appear. However, your hot wheel will maintain whatever momentum it had right before you ran out of fuel. It’ll continue travelling for a bit, and who knows, you might even get lucky! You’ll probably first notice this on level three. Around the halfway point your fuel will run dry but you’ll be coming down from a long jump. When you hit the ground, there’s a fuel tank waiting for you. You’ll probably end up rolling right into it, and once you do, you’ll be able to continue as if nothing happened!

4. Don’t worry about the stars!

You usually won’t be able to get all three stars on your first run through a level, so don’t worry about them! Instead, just try to focus on getting as many coins as you can. The end goal is to upgrade your hot wheel enough so that you can actually finish the level, not how fast you can do it. In fact, if you need to, you can revisit older levels if you have an easier time getting coins in them.
